LAX

Shout out to me for being the first student blogger!!! We're at LAX right now passing the time before our flight to Lima, some of us playing card games and others of us just talking. Everyone seems to have energy right now, but I'm thinking we'll all be knocked out in a few hours when we're on the way to Peru. We'll arrive there at about 12:00 a.m. their time and we won't be leaving for Piura until 6:00 a.m. It's been kinda hectic getting our huge group of people around the airports and through security, but it's hard to lose people when everyone's in bright red shirts. We've had a lot of people stop us and ask us where we're going. When our flight attendant on the plane to L.A. found out where we were going she wished us well over the intercom and was very impressed, like a lot of other travelers have been. LAX has been good to us. P.S. Shout out to Claire Gordon for being my duet partner while conveniently singing Party in the USA. Oh, and love you Mom and Dad. - Sofie DeWulf
